FLORAL DESIGN FOR AGES 10-13
Have fun creating a variety of floral arrangements. Learn design principles and techniques, flower identification and aspects of the floral design business. Students will create headpieces, corsages and floral arrangements. Techniques will include wiring, taping, bow-making and working with floral foam.
Supplies: Instructor will provide flowers, supplies and tools. Students must bring two vases - one tall, round vase, and one 5-inch, square vase.

PowerPoint may be used to create a slideshow and basic videos. Learn to create a professional-looking, high-impact presentation. Starting with the basic features and functions, learn how to add graphic elements, tables and charts, images, SmartArt, headers and footers, video, sound, narration, hyperlinks, create a custom template, new bullets, use animation and transition to catch the viewer’s attention, set-up an automated presentation, change themes, and rehearse timings.
EXCEL FOR THE ACCOUNTANT, 2016 • Eligible for Financial Aid
Prerequisites: Excel, Intermediate is recommended.
Skills and commands that link various functions together to create a complex formula will be practiced in this course. Learn complex functions such as SUMPRODUCT, INDEX/MATCH, IFERROR, ISTRUE, RANK, payment functions, date and counting date functions, percentile functions, Slicers, Sparklines, Consolidation, Macros, automatic outlining, Goal Seek, Timelines, Developer options, understanding Solver, means and standard deviation, Add-ins, Queries and other advanced commands. After developing a Macro, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) will be introduced as a programming tool.
MY QUILT, MY WAY! AGES 7-13
Students collect and assemble colorful fabric shapes to make a 9 inch x 12 inch quilt sampler. Instructor provides step-by-step instructions on basic, straight, blanket and whip stitches. Young quilters will select from a variety of textured, shimmery embellishments for the finishing touch of their mini-masterpiece.
Supplies: Instructor will provide all supplies. We recommend that students wear old clothing or items they do not mind having stained to class meetings.

Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder is designed for individuals who would like to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in designing, building and deploying custom applications using the declarative customization capabilities of the Lightning Platform. Learn to create, manage and update data models, application security, business logic, and process automation.
BLACK AND WHITE DARKROOM, ADVANCED
Prerequisites: Must have completed one semester of Black and White Darkroom (PHTC-1004) or approval of the instructor.
Take your darkroom skills to the next level to create finely crafted black and white images. Discover tricks and techniques to produce images that express your creativity and photographic vision. Learn how to control film development to produce better negatives, improve density and contrast through split-filtering and flashing techniques, toning prints, types of developing paper and more.

Learn how to develop a marketing strategy and brand identity, formalize your business process, structure and develop your supporting financial plan, and write a business plan. This course shares the key components of establishing a well-developed business plan.
LAUNCHING A SMALL BUSINESS, LEVEL III • Eligible for Financial Aid
If you have launched your business or are ready to launch, explore how to improve, enhance and ensure the quality and success of your business. Learn to establish your brand, reach your target customers, and meet all federal and state legal business launch requirements. This final level in the series of courses prepares you to effectively launch a small business.
